Volue strengthens leadership team with key appointments

To accelerate strategy execution and support continued growth, Volue has appointed several new executives to its leadership team. The new leaders bring extensive experience from the energy and technology sectors and will play pivotal roles in driving the next phase of Volue’s development.

“We are excited to welcome these highly competent leaders to Volue,” says Trond Straume, CEO of Volue. “Some have been part of our journey for years, while others bring fresh perspectives from recent acquisitions or new industry roles. Together, they form a strong team ready to deliver on our strategy and support our customers in the green energy transition.” 

A team for continued growth 

The new appointments include: 

  • Martin Vieider, Chief Transformation Officer (CTrO) 
    Martin brings deep expertise in organisational transformation. He is responsible for scaling Volue’s operations and driving strategic change initiatives across the company. 
  • Kristin Wikstrøm, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) 
    Kristin leads Volue’s people strategy, working to cultivate a high-performing, engaged, and purpose-driven culture throughout the organisation. 
  • Helmut Spindler, General Manager, Energy Software 
    Previously CEO of PowerBot, Helmut now leads Volue’s Energy Software product line. He brings decades of experience in delivering software solutions to the energy industry. 
  • Maximilian Kiessler, General Manager, Volue Energy Market Services 
    Formerly COO of PowerBot, Maximilian now heads Volue’s Energy Market Services, supporting customers with expert-based energy trading and optimisation services. 
  • Kaj van de Loo, Interim General Manager, Power Grid 
    With a strong background in energy systems and technology, Kaj is responsible for leading Volue’s Power Grid business and expanding its footprint across Europe - particularly in the German market. 
  • Guro Haavind, Head of Legal 
    As Head of Legal, Guro brings robust legal and compliance leadership to Volue’s extended leadership team, supporting strategic initiatives and the company’s growth ambitions.
